obama likens communist vietnam leader Ho Chi Minh to Thomas Jefferson
On thursday, 7-25-13 B.O. met with current Vietnamese President Truong Tan Sang at the White House. After their meeting the two held a press conference.
B.O. observed that it may have taken 67 years, but the United States and Vietnam were finally enjoying the relationship that (Vietnam war era leader) Ho Chi Minh once wrote of. After all, Obama said, Ho had been “inspired by the words of Thomas Jefferson.”
Ho Chi Minh was a brutal communist to the core
In a recent article, Chris Stirewalt of Fox News writes “Ho famously slaughtered his opponents, including the infamous butchery of peasant farmers who resisted his brutal taxation in the early days of His regime.
Estimates run as high as half-a-million killed in Ho’s effort to consolidate power after his communist forces drove the French out of Indochina. The killing of landlords and bourgeois-class merchants was famous even in its day and since then has been documented in even more horrifying detail.
To those who carried his banner forward following his death in 1969 – he remains “Uncle Ho” even to this day – built upon his brutal regime. Following the final U.S. retreat from Vietnam untold thousands of Vietnamese, deemed collaborators by the regime, were put to death. He and his Leninist regime used V.I. Lenin’s tactics: murder, terror and “reeducation” to obtain, maintain and expand power.” Click here for the story
Communists in common
Recently I posted an article titled America, islam, the UN and communism. In that article I addressed the brutal, horrific, immeasurable, grotesque tactics of communism, the UN and islam. The article (with associated support) explains in somewhat graphic detail how these elements address Christians, as well as others, who would rather not live under a dictator. In the Vietnam War era, Ho Chi Minh was no different. Yet today, B.O is elevating Ho Chi Minh to Thomas Jefferson’s co-equal.
2,709,918 served in Vietnam. Approximately 56,000 died but all sacrificed their lives. Most lived / have lived with the agony of the war all of their lives in some manner or another.
Comparing Thomas Jefferson to Ho Chi Minh is reprehensible
While Thomas Jefferson was not a follower of Christ he was a decent man with Biblically based morals and strong American values. To liken President Thomas Jefferson to Ho Chi Minh is a
spit vomit in the face to every friend, loved one, family member and service member that was associated with the Vietnam War in any way; not to mention all Americans who have EVER sacrificed for America and even ALL Americans that hold to traditional American values.
The comparison is also very revealing in regards to B.O.’s sympathies. B.O. has mentioned patterning himself after Jefferson before (which of course is an anomaly). But why does B.O. seem to be speaking of this vicious communist leader admirably? Is B.O. saying that he desires to emulate Ho Chi Minh?
I’ll see you out in the field,
